scary chip off the elderly block
Seven year-old Iris Uber Alles to her little sister: "Do you know there is a such thing as gross negligence?"
poor poor iris. i've been lovers with 2 different lawyers over the centuries and they are - how can i say this tactfully? - uh, pieces of work. perhaps this is why i idolize the DH. on the other hand when you have to remind your lovers you aren't "a court case", that may be a bad sign.

Elderly former-litigator mommy is the one. Iris Uber Alles is such a natural lawyer it's scary.
